A Celebration of Seafood

The Fremantle Seafood Festival is a unique one-day event filled with tastes, smells and culinary delights that the whole family can enjoy. The main festival attractions are the Tastes of Fremantle Stage and the Seafood Theatre Stage, each with celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, wine reviews, tasting opportunities and more. In 2015 the Fremantle Seafood Festival will extend from Fishing Boat Harbour to the new location at Bather’s Beach, and will feature exciting attractions for the whole family. The festival also incorporates market stalls with local produce and food & wine on sale to visitors. The event is relaxing and entertaining; audiences can sit and watch the cooking demonstrations, then wander through the stalls within the area and enjoy samples and make purchases. The event is an ideal avenue for restaurants and food distributors to get involved to promote and sell their product. The Festival is ideally timed and will be held Sunday 29th March, the weekend before Easter.

Bringing back the sardine festival

We are very excited to have the support of Jim Mendolia, who is legendary in Fremantle for having run the iconic Sardine Festival for many years. As part of the 2015 Fremantle Seafood Festival, a special Sardine Festival display will be set up with Jim Mendolia offering tastings of his famous sardines. Don’t miss it!
